It was a joyful multi-cultural Pentecost Sunday for the community at St Patrick’s church, Wainuiomata, celebrating our parish feast-day. We recalled how the Holy Spirit came down on the first disciples in Jerusalem. People from many languages were surprised they could all understand the Apostles, when they went out and spread the Good News with power, as we are called to do.
