The Catholic Samoan chaplaincy in the Archdiocese of Wellington is exercised through communication, attending to spiritual needs, community building and leadership.
The parish offers a Samoan Sponsored Mass on a regular basis. Pastoral care is provided at times of funerals, and visiting of the sick.
The chaplaincy and our own Samoan community have an ongoing focus on leadership activities and formation, along with the goal of expanding the work of the Translation Team, bringing together the ‘Aulotus’ in the newly formed larger parishes for Masses and bringing all the Samoans together into one chaplaincy under the Archbishop.
